ABSOLUTELY!!! A lot of the fun is researching and creating anticipation for the destination before traveling. As a travel agent, my goal is to enhance your travel experience and provide you with expert advice, personalized recommendations, and insider knowledge that you may not find on your own. I consider this a collaborative experience.
WHY DO YOU PROVIDE BUNDLED PACKAGE RATES?
As a travel advisor, my focus is on curating comprehensive travel experiences rather than just providing individual component prices. I take a holistic approach to trip planning, considering various factors such as accommodations, transportation, activities, and additional services to create a seamless itinerary tailored to your preferences.
DO YOU GET BETTER RATES THAN IF I BOOKED MYSELF?
The honest answer to that is maybe. But with that lower rate you will get nothing beside your room and maybe some tickets. My goal is to ensure that you have the best experience possible that is perfectly matched to your vision and interests. The real value is in how I can save you time, stress and frustration either prior to traveling or while actually in the destination. WHY DO YOU CHARGE A PLANNING FEES FOR SOME SERVICES?
A vast majority of our clients book packaged services. With vacation packages, travel agent commissions are baked into the rate. Therefore, we DO NOT charge an additional fee. However, there are some travel components such as 1- and 2- day theme park tickets as well as consulting on packages you booked yourself, that we don’t receive compensation. There are also very labor-intensive services such as foreign independent travel (FIT) where an additional fee is charged commensurate with the hours it takes to plan these trips. That being said, even charging these planning fees, the cost to you is VERY low considering the time and energy we put into your vacation.
DO YOU WORK WITH VRBO AND/OR AIRBNB?
We do not work with properties that are individually managed. We are unable to stand behind the quality of individually owned properties.
